Health Bureau established District Health Centre (DHC) Express in 11 districts, together with the 7 District Health Centres, Primary Healthcare Services aimed at preventing diseases are available across the territory. Wan Chai DHC Express is operated by Methodist Centre. WC DHCE aimed at disease prevention, providing primary healthcare services on different levels, including health promotion and education, health risk factor assessment, chronic disease screening and management. Apart from serving as a district-based Primary Healthcare Resource Hub that links different service providers of various aspects of primary healthcare services in the community, WC DHCE will also leverage on a private healthcare network in the community to enable Hong Kong residents to prevent diseases and fulfilling the service needs of clients.
