Wan Chai District Health Centre recently participated in the S Plus Summit and Expo, collaborating with various stakeholders to discuss how to achieve Sustainable Development Goals and promote primary healthcare services locally and regionally.

At the expo, we showcased the diverse services of Wan Chai District Health Centre, with a special focus on promoting the Chronic Disease Co-Care Pilot Scheme, encouraging citizens to engage in early screening and proactive health management to prevent chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia. Many attendees expressed interest in the scheme and inquired about details on the spot.

Our registered dietitian also shared insights on low-carbon diets and how balanced nutrition can help prevent chronic diseases, while addressing participants’ nutrition-related questions, leaving everyone with valuable health knowledge.

We extend our gratitude to the organizers for the invitation, allowing us to spread the concept of preventive medicine to a wider audience. Wan Chai District Health Centre will continue to support citizens in practicing self-health management.
